The question I have is why does:
Alec
Baldwin, Madonna,
-
Sean Penn
and
other Hollywood types make
front page news with their anti-everything America
trash and Denzel Washington's
Patriotism doesn't
even make page 3 in the Metro section
of any
newspaper except the Local newspaper in San
Antonio .

This
needs
as wide a distribution as we can create

The National Minority Military Museum
Foundation
One of the least publicized
aspects of American History is the contribution of African American
men and women in the defense of this nation. Few are aware of the
fact that our involvement in the defense of this nation predates the
"Minute Men" in Colonial times. And over five thousand men of
African heritage served in the Continental Army during the
Revolutionary War.
Over the span of two hundred
and fifty years, this nation has been involved in eleven wars and
conflicts. Historically, African Americans have maintained a
presence in the Armed Forces during each of those periods of
national crisis. It is estimated that more than two million African
American men and women have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The National Minority Military
Museum Foundation is an educational non-profit organization. Our
mission is to correct this historical oversight and recognize the
military contributions of African Americans in the defense of the
nation, and increase public awareness about the sacrifices and
achievements of this broad segment of the national community. Our
ultimate objective is to establish a national museum/archive that
will house this important segment of American history.
To accomplish our mission, we
need your help. Our immediate campaign is to collect the names of
African American men and women who have served in the Armed Forces.
The intent of the campaign is twofold: first and foremost to make
sure that the names of those who have served or are serving become a
part of the museum's archival record. And secondly, to assist
veterans in locating friends with whom they once served.
In our efforts to spread the
word among African American veterans, we are asking you to serve as
an "Ambassador" for the cause. Please make five copies of this
letter and give a copy to five friends or associates who are
veterans. Ask them to make six copies, fill one out and mail it back
to the Foundation and give the other five to their friends. Your
efforts will help save our stories from being lost forever.
